At CRTE, we support several initiatives aimed at raising the awareness of the general public with regard to environmental issues.

The MyClimateLux Initiative

Myclimate Luxembourg is an online platform geared towards addressing climate change, reducing CO2 emissions, raising awareness and protecting the climate over the long term.

Founded in June 2008 by Energieagence, Cegedel (operating as Enovos since 2009) and the Public Research Centre Henri Tudor, Myclimate Luxembourg, a non-profit organisation, offers a number of services to Luxembourg businesses and private individuals:

Raising awareness of the reasons behind global climate change and the resulting effects
Advising businesses looking to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions
Supporting the voluntary reduction of emissions
Implementing climate protection projects in Luxembourg

Raise awareness of the general public and the younger generation

Our team at CRTE also works towards raising awareness among the general public through its annual participation in ‘Oekofoire’ (eco-exhibition) alongside the OAI and among the younger generation by providing educational workshops at events aimed at raising awareness of research taking place in Luxembourg, such as the ‘Researchers Night’ or the ‘Science Festival’.
