Over 40 companies have improved their environmental practices with support from RIFE 2 "Réseau transfrontalier d’Information, de Formation et d’accompagnement d’entreprises à la gestion de l’Environnement", an INTERREG IVA Greater Region project - which connected partners, including CRP Henri Tudor, from Wallonia, French Lorraine and Luxembourg to support the development of good environmental practices.

  • To turn the constraints of environmental regulations into opportunities, Environmental Management System (EMS) methods were developed and tested.
  • To identify the potential for water management improvement in companies with high water consumption or highly polluted wastewater, pre-diagnosis and "Water" diagnosis was done using a methodology developed by CRP Henri Tudor and the Centre for Expertise in the Treatment and Management of Water (CEBEDEAU) in Belgium.
  • To reduce the energy bills of companies, pre-energy audits using a method developed by CRTE, energy audits, and training in performing energy audits were done.
