We develop and apply tools and methods for Environmental assessment, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) of processes, products and services. We provide support for ecodesign and ecomarketing of products to private companies (e.g. ecolabels, carbon footprint). Another application is the development of decision and communication support on environmental problems for public stakeholders (e.g. footprint methodologies, resource efficiency). We also offer the following services:

• Support for the development and implementation of environmental indicators: Carbon footprint, Ecolabelling, Ecological footprint, EMergy evaluation, Index of Sustainable Economic Welfare (ISEW), Environmental Product Declaration (EDP)
• Support for the design of eco-friendly materials and products, taking into account the environmental impact of the material or product as well as an improved functionality and reduced costs all over the life cycle.
• Customized developments and applications for customers in the private (SME's, large companies) and public sector: practical support to in-house competence building, Assessment Software development (LCA toolbox), Trainings, Ad-hoc studies for specific products or processes
• Methodological developments, with specific focus on assessment of water resources use, assessment of Ecosystem goods and services, integration of noise impacts into LCA, Life Cycle Sustainability Approaches, including economic modelling and social aspects
